LIVE MACKINAC BRIDGE: Blowing snow is creating dangerous travel conditions in the Straits area Wednesday morning, December 31, prompting a warning for motorists heading toward the Mackinac Bridge. The Mackinac Bridge Authority says limited visibility and potentially slippery road surfaces make it necessary for drivers to slow down before crossing. Motorists are instructed to reduce speed to no more than 20 miles per hour, turn on low-beam headlights, and use caution while traveling across the br
