The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has completed more than one crore Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBUs) for schoolchildren across the country.
The change allows Aadhaar numbers generated from birth certificates to be shared with registrars to stop multiple IDs being created from the same certificate.
