Campus Safety and Daytona Beach police were investigating a threat at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on Feb. 17.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus resumes normal operations after a lockdown.

According to posts circulating on social media, the Daytona Beach campus has since been placed on lockdown.

The Daytona Beach Police Department and the FBI are investigating the call.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus was placed on lockdown after a reported shooting threat in Volusia County, prompting a large police response and campus safety sweep.

Endowments will support work on aviation safety.
